Smart PVT
GeoMark has added the new Smart PVT Program to its extensive PVT capabilities. The Smart PVT program produces data required for Equation of State (EOS) tuning at a reduced cost and turnaround.
The program was developed through an industry supported series of trials that examined the optimum and minimum amount of PVT data required for EOS tuning.
These trials demonstrated that quicker, more focused PVT experiments produce the needed data in less time and at a considerable savings compared to conventional PVT studies.
The main components of the SmartPVT Program include:
- Single-stage flashes (GOR, FVF, API gravity, gas gravity, compositions)
- Oil based mud evaluations and calculated "cleaned" compositions
- Saturation pressures
- Live oil and stock tank viscosities
- Stock tank oil properties (sulfur, wax and asphaltene contents, flow assurance screening)
- Tuned Equation of State models
