Over 1100 oil samples in the OILS Database and over 440 gas samples in the GAS Database are from collected seeps. These are indicated by symbol colors in the RFDbase website. These data are available via participation in the OILS or GAS Database, or by purchasing a customized BASEn report.

TDI-Brooks International and GeoMark have conducted five piston core programs in the Gulf of Mexico. These programs contain the analyses of over 1,000 piston cores, and include biomarker and carbon isotope analyses on over 450 of these samples. All sample locations were selected by participating oil companies. Every sample was acquired by TDI-BI and analyzed by GeoMark. These programs can be purchased as a package, or separately
